The Nampa UCC Church administers and supports the Alan Creech Memorial scholarship. This scholarship is given annually to a deserving recipient to pursue higher education in memory of Alan Creech, former church member and Nampa Police Chief. Below you will find documents which include a biography of Alan Creech, a form for nominations, scholarship information and a list of past scholarship winners.
Alan was an active member of the Lenni Lenape; Delawares of Idaho Indian tribe. He received an AA in Criminal Justice from the College of Southern Idaho, and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Boise State University. Alan is a 1993 graduate of the FBI academy, and was employed in law enforcement since 1972. He worked with the Idaho State Police, State Corrections, and the Nampa Police Department. He was involved in numerous civic and social organizations.
